SSZ Compensators
Industrial equipments need flexibility for a safe and efficient exploitation. Any pipeline submitted to temperature variation will dilate or contract, this states will influence the proper working of a factory. The same thing will happen in mechanical vibrations made by compressors, pumps, engines and turbines. Once fitted, the flexible compensators will successfully absorb contraction, dilatation and lateral movement caused by the temperature variations. The transmission of vibration from one equipment to another is also prevented by the compensators. The fitting procedure is simple and efficient, so the amount of time required for replacing the old isolation is very low. Because of the asbestos free materials used in the manufacturing process, the SSZ Compensators are environmental friendly. Their composition offers optimal flexibility and a long lifetime. Construction and configuration
Non-metallic compensators are manufactured from a wide range of asbestos free materials (silicone rubber with glass cloth insertion fabric, woven glass cloth sheets, PTFE with glass cloth, PTFE sheets, woven wire cloth, mineral wool, aluminum foil, aramidic fibre etc.) and they cover the range of temperatures from -60°C to 1000°C.
SSZ Compensators are manufactured at the highest quality standards using imported materials permanently on stock and they are available in five standard types SSZ-200, 350, 550, 550 inox, 750 inox and one thermal insulation type. The number in the title represents the maximum continuous temperature the respective type can work with. Standard widths are between 250 mm and 1000 mm and the maximum recommended length is 50 meters. The assembly of SSZ Compensators is very fast and easy using the SSZ joining kit. Besides the standard types, SUSZI srl manufactures custom made compensators and insulation bolsters for all applications not covered by the standard range.
